ISCO launches its new eBook at the JW Marriott

Last night ISCO launched its new eBook called “Portraits in Potential”, which celebrates the stories of almost 2,200 children that ISCO is helping get access to education this year.

The eBook has 78 pages of bright and colorful photographs taken by Carl Ottersen as he visited several of the Activity Centers in Jakarta in April and May. The eBook is available for sale directly and on Google Play. Versions for Android tablets, iBooks and Kindle will be available next week.

The price of the eBook is very simple – it is the cost of supporting one child for one month. So by buying the eBook you directly help a child. At the event ISCO received enough pledges to provide support for three children for one year each.

As well as the eBook, ISCO presented a selection of color posters and art quality black-and-white photographs, which can be ordered on-line. The price of the posters is the same as supporting one child for one month, while the price of the photographs is the same as supporting one child for two months.

In opening the event Karan Berry, General Manager of JW Marriott Jakarta, endorsed the hotel group’s support for ISCO’s initiatives, saying they would deepen their help through Marriott’s “Spirit to Serve” program.
